Abigail was so smiley and adorable during her session. Her mom was so excited for her two girls to have matching headbands for their sibling photos at her newborn session and told me how she pictured it as soon as she found out she was having another girl. You can tell big sister is totally smitten over her new baby. I loved how perfect her skin tone was with the beautiful pink ruffle romper she wore.

Mom also brought along her long beautiful veil she wanted Abigail photographed on and it turned out so cute.

This momma was pregnant with her first cute blonde babe at the same time I was pregnant with my third baby. We were due days apart and our kids are great friends now <3 Fast forward to her becoming a big sister. I always do a photo shoot on the first day of school for my kids so I can distract myself from missing them SOO much. This little peanut was my first day of school for this year at 4 days fresh:)

Latisha opted for a studio maternity session rather than an outdoor on-location session for her Greensboro Maternity Photography Session. Sometimes people are more comfortable at an in-studio session, especially for the more intimate photos or outfits. I’m pleased to offer the option for all of my expecting moms should they prefer it 🙂

The Rudd family is dear to my heart. I met Jess and Keith when she was attending UNC and he was attending Duke. Funny story- my husband and her husband were roommates at BYU in Utah during their undergrad and both ended up at Duke University. One day my husband and I were at out complex pool and they walked in to tour the apartments. After they were married they lived in the apartment right next to us and we would make homemade pizza and our favorite recipes for each other. Fast forward to now, we live in Greensboro, NC. They live in Washington DC but after they drove down for me to photograph their third baby’s newborn photos she loved the photos so much that as soon as she found out she was pregnant with her fourth (and final!) baby she contacted me immediately to see if I had any availability around her due date. I did so she booked me and when the baby was right around a week old they loaded their 4 kids ages 4 and under in the car and made the drive from DC to Greensboro for their newborn photo shoot with me. What an honor it was to do this for them and a huge compliment for me <3 I love this family!!
