This darling baby girl was born early so she was 7 weeks old when she came in for her newborn photos.  She was still one of my smaller babies and was an angel for her session.  She and her mom flew from Utah to Greensboro, NC for their session.  It always warms my heart and makes me so grateful and happy when people have their choice of newborn photographer and choose me to be their Greensboro Newborn Photographer for this fleeting time of their lives.

This incredible family drove all the way from the DC area to Greensboro, NC to have me be their Greensboro Newborn Photographer. What a huge compliment and honor it was.  With three young children it wasn’t easy making the 7 hour trip (with stops) but they did it without complaint and were so over the moon with their photos.  I couldn’t be happier with how well Haven did for her session, she was one of the best babies I’ve ever had!

Thank you again Rudd family for making the Trek for me to take newborn photos of your beautiful family!

Little Grace was such a sweetheart for her session.  I was attending a newborn photography workshop in Georgia the day before and got back early in the morning to make it home for her session.  We had to have her session a couple hours earlier than I normally take them so I was exhausted.  Luckily, Miss Grace was an angel for me and even rewarded me with some big smiles.  Her complection looked so pretty in pink and her darling headbands from Buttercup Baby Props and Daddymack Designs accented just how small and dainty she is.

This beautiful baby boy and his doting parents came to my Greensboro Newborn Photography Studio for their session when Jackson was just a few days old.  His perfect chubby details made me swoon over and over.  Parent photos are almost always my favorite and I couldn’t get enough of these brand new parents with their new baby boy. Which parent newborn pose is your favorite?

Another favorite, baby smiles.  Do you see his cute grin in the photo of him on the brown backdrop, so sweet!

Kristen contacted me for a Chapel Hill Maternity Photo Session as a gift to her husband.  He had been hoping she’d have maternity photos taken for her pregnancies and this was her third so she surprised him this time.  I thought it was the cutest thing, ever! I love that he wanted her to document and see how beautiful she is in this stage of life.  I love that they and their children will be able to look at these photos for the rest of their lives and see what beauty pregnancy was for her.  I love that they will have these pictures to look at since I have only ever seen one photo of my mom pregnant (and I’m not sure if it was with me or my sister). The human body is an incredible thing.  A woman’s body can grow a human being inside of her, how amazing is that?!  Definitely something to be remembered and documented.  I was hoping the trees would be prettier for her photo shoot but she assured me she was happy and we both agreed this is the time she’s pregnant, and this is what North Carolina looked like at that time.  So that’s how this stage should be remembered.  I love how rich and vibrant they turned out despite being less than ideal timing.  Kristen looked radiant in the gowns I brought for her to wear.  She trusted me completely and pulled off every pose with ease and perfection.
