This little babe is always funny, spunky, and gorgeous for her sessions.  I’ve been photographing this little peanut since she was just a 5 lb. and change little baby.  Here she is at 9 months!  Her mom’s favorite season is Fall so it was fun to subtly incorporate some Fall and Christmas into her 6-month milestone session.  I can’t wait for her next session (when she will be ONE!) to see how much she’s grown and changed!

Maternity Photography in Greensboro, NC is always so much fun.  The majority of my maternity sessions are done on-location outdoors but this couple really wanted an indoor studio maternity session for their Greensboro Maternity Session.  I’m so glad they did because I loved stretching myself creatively and coming up with different poses and set-ups that worked so beautifully for their family.  I was a little nervous at first since my studio is small and I mostly only photograph Newborn Photo sessions up through 1 or sometimes 2 year olds.  Beautiful things can happen when we don’t limit ourselves as evidenced here <3  Newborns are my passion which folds together perfectly with being a Greensboro Maternity Photographer as well.  They have my heart!

Being a Greensboro Newborn Photographer means I have the opportunity of meeting all sorts of people who share one thing in common, a new sweet baby.

I have loved watching this beautiful family grow over the past few years!  I met this little guy’s mom when she worked at Wendover OBGYN in Greensboro and I was pregnant with my second baby, my first baby boy <3 She had such a light and energy to her that always made me smile whenever I went in for my appointments.  When I got an e-mail from her the first time she was pregnant asking if I could photograph their baby girl I was so excited.

Now, a couple years later they had their second baby, a boy named Toby and I had the privilege of photographing him as well as his big sister in her new role and their darling family.

One thing about newborn photography that can be tricky is keeping baby asleep and settled for their entire session.  It’s hard when baby is awake as they won’t pose and often times they can be grumpy or want to be held.  Toby was the BEST for his newborn session even though he was awake for a good portion of it. I’ve never had a baby give me such amazing eye-contact and be so calm while awake.  He truly is incredible!

It’s been a busy and wonderful Fall season here in Greensboro and it’s not over yet!  I’ve loved getting to see and photograph all the families I’ve been photographing for years, as well as meeting new ones.  I met Keeley and Steven last year when she was pregnant with baby Everett.  She was glowing as a pregnant mom for her maternity photos, and is just as radiant with their 6 month old darling baby boy.  What a fun time it was catching up and seeing their cute little man!

I can’t believe I forgot to post these pictures!  I absolutely LOVED Keeley and Steven’s maternity session.  Keeley looked stunning with her dark hair being such a beautiful contrast to her skin and the champagne colored gown.  I love being able to offer maternity gowns to my clients as an exclusive part of their session to help make them feel beautiful and accentuate their cute baby bump.   I have about 20 to choose from so you are sure to find one you’ll love!
