What a special newborn session this was for me.  I was the second shooter at this wonderful couple’s wedding 8 years ago (on my own 1 year wedding anniversary).  And the day before our anniversaries I got to see them again and meet the newest member of their family.  Their gorgeous baby girl, Sophie.  Greensboro, NC is full of amazing people, These are just a few of them.  I love how much love and emotion you can feel coming from the pictures of Shannon and Russ snuggling their new baby.  And do you see that little hand holding her mom’s finger?  <3  Being a newborn photographer is so one of the most rewarding jobs ever.  I love being able to capture their new, perfect little selves when they’re so tiny they can fit in their parents arms so perfectly. The stage is so fleeting so it’s important to capture it so you can remember every detail.  The rolls on their back, the way their mouth hangs open after falling into a milk coma, their darling sleepy smiles and big yawns, how they fit just right in my arms.  Those and so much more are all things I want to remember about my babies! I love my job, seriously it might be hard but it’s the Best. Job. EVER!

I absolutely loved photographing Briana at this special time of her life!  Her session took place only a few short weeks before welcoming her first baby boy and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out.  I love Fall in Greensboro, NC.  This fall hasn’t been as colorful as I was hoping, but it’s been gorgeous just the same.  We only had about 20 minutes for our session but managed to get her in and out of 4 beautiful gowns in that time.  That’s a new record!  Congratulations on the arrival of your baby boy, Briana! I can’t wait to photograph him for his newborn pictures next week!!

I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family shortly before the arrival of their second baby, a sweet, perfect little boy.  I’m also blessed to call this mama a friend.  She had quite the ordeal getting from Charlotte to Greensboro getting stuck behind an overturned tractor trailer and driving through a monsoon to get to the session.  She got here less than 30 minutes before the sun was completely set, but we still got some beautiful photos for her and her family to remember this special time.  Can I just say maternity photo sessions are one of my absolute favorites.  They are a close tie to newborn photos.  I hope you can feel the love coming from these photos as much as I can when I look at them:)
