Thomas is fun, smart, silly, cool, humble, funny, kind…basically all around an awesome guy:)  He was a breeze to photograph and was quick to listen to my instructions…even when I turned around and saw dozens of people in golf carts parked right behind us (I had NO idea, they were quiet!) I’ve been photographing Courtney and Rod since 2010 and have loved watching their family grow. I never tire of Cayden’s never-ending supply of energy and sweetness.  I don’t know the last time I used such a fast shutter-speed (he’s fast!) but he took time to hold my hand and walk me around the gardens, I seriously can’t get enough of that kid.  He will be such a fun and loving big brother to his baby sister!

I always love the opportunity to photograph Courtney and Chris and have been doing so since their engagement shoot years ago on UNCG’s campus.  I’ve followed them all over Greensboro taking bridal, wedding, and Christmas card pictures, but this time was extra special because they have a new darling family member, Vivienne!  It was my honor to photograph you, Ross family and I’m so happy for your beautiful little family:)

Mia was the perfect little model to try out a few new props for me. Seriously, how cute is she in that romper?! I was a little out of my comfort zone trying a couple awake (and unwrapped) shots but I was determined to get a good one, and it just so happens that I got it very quickly, and it’s her mom’s favorite picture from the session! I love her perfect little details, and how they are showcased even more with tiny little headbands and props to show just how little and delicate a newborn baby is. Thank you Jeff and Priscilla for letting me try some cute new things with your beautiful new baby!

Seth and Lindsay are such a fun, happy, and fun to be around couple, it was so much fun being part of their day at Millikan Farms a couple weeks ago.  I loved their beautiful country theme, from burlap to boots, lemons, and daisies every detail was planned out perfectly. I especially loved how they incorporated lemons into their decorating since Lemons is their last name:)  Congratulations to you both, it was my pleasure working with you!!
