Elissa wanted both ends of the spectrum for her maternity session- the fancy gowns, and the casual jeans ripped jeans. She pulled off both seamlessly:)
I have photographed Erika for all three of her babies. This time she wanted just a few photos to document this pregnancy. Both of her other sessions were outdoors so we did something a little different and decided to do a studio maternity session this time around:)
I think each baby deserves their own session and you get to incorporate the siblings into the sessions which I love, especially in outdoor sessions. It’s such a fun season of life to document and love to see the connection between mom and baby and how each sibling interacts, too <3
Just like with Andrea’s maternity session- we were able to get some much variety with so many different set ups (not all shared here) for her daughter’s newborn session. Whitney was a newborn photographer’s dream, sleeping the whole time, posing beautifully, plump cheeks and beautiful long eyelashes <3
Neighbors who quickly become friends and are so fun to photograph- that’s who these guys are. I started off taking their engagement photos in the snow- which as any North Carolinian knows is super rare. We lucked into a beautiful snowstorm and since we just lived across the street from each other could walk to take pictures since it was soo much snow for most southern unequipped-cars and drivers;) It was magical and absolutely beautiful. Their newborn photos were so beautiful with this tiny little 5 lb peanut. This time she was not a fan of the cold but we got lots of snuggles, blanket, and fur coat time in to help with that;) You wouldn’t even know Gabbi is pregnant with Lyla’s little sister in these photos!
