This was my second year with this family and I love watching the girls relationships with each other. Photographers- don’t forget pictures of mom and dad- so many don’t have any of just the two of them together since wedding photos!

Even though I’m a Greensboro Family photographer, when I fly to Utah to see some of our favorite families, I love the change of scenery the beautiful Utah mountains provide! This place was just a few minutes away from their house- how beautiful and cool is it?! They have since moved to another state and I’m so glad they got to have pictures taken at a place they loved and visited often as a family <3
This is another family I love so much! I first met Shannon and Russ when I was living in Durham while my husband was attending law school at Duke and I was the Communications Director at the Chapel Hill Country Club. My wedding photographer had liked my style and my eye and asked if I wanted to work with her so I picked up a DSLR camera for the first time ever, tagged along and figured out how to use it to get the shots I was after. I photographed their wedding on my one year anniversary! I’ve loved watching their family grow since then. Unfortunately, their little one was NOT happy about any photos and we ended up rescheduling some indoor photos for her one year pictures. She didn’t really love those any better but I think we still got some great ones from each session:)
